Scholarship DetailsThe Engineering (ICT) International Undergraduate Scholarship offers students the opportunity to obtain an undergraduate qualification at UTS:Engineering. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the student’s year 12 (or equivalent) results. The scholarship is also open to diploma holders.

The scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fees commencing from the first semester of study for a period of four years.
One student will be selected per semester and the commencement of the scholarship will be the same as the commencement o the student’s Bachelor of Engineering.

Guidelines

Eligibility to apply:

A student who:

  • expects to complete the equivalent year 12 exam in 2007 overseas
  • will meet the normal entry requirements for the Bachelor of Engineering
  • obtains an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 6.0 in writing - http://www.ielts.org/

Closing date and Application

The scholarship will be awarded twice a year for an intake for Autumn and Spring Semesters.
The application form must be submitted together with the International Coursework Application form to either a UTS representative or UTS: International.
The closing dates for this scholarship for are:

  • Autumn Semester (February 2008 start): 15 December 2007;
  • Spring Semester (July 2008 start) 1 June 2008

AB-CRC Vacation Scholarships

Description

AB-CRC Vacation Scholarships will provide financial support to students undertaking a short research project within an existing AB-CRC project. Scholarships will be tenable at each of the partners of the AB-CRC, and the research project, supported by the AB-CRC, must run for a minimum of 6 weeks and a maximum of 10 weeks over any university summer break.

Annual value: $A 1,500.00

Total value: $A 1,500.00

Extra Details:

The scholarship will provide a $1500 living allowance, awarded as a tax-free lump sum to the administering research organisation.

Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree in a discipline relevant to biosecurity and emerging infectious diseases at one of the partner institutions of the AB-CRC, and have successfully completed at least 2 years of their undergraduate degree. Scholarships will be awarded to students based on academic merit.
